It is with the utmost respect and heartfelt condolences we provide the following update on the passing of Pararescue leader, mentor, Brother and legend Clegie Chambers. Clegie Chambers past away March 4, 2022 in his home after battling illness. Clegie was 71 years old. He was born on September 25, 1950. As of the drafting of this update Clegie's obituary was not ready and will be posted on another update and will be available at the link below.

Services for Clegie will be as follows:

The Family will recieve visitors on Saturday March 12 from 4-6 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington North Carolina 28412. The funeral will be held March13 at 1PM at the same location Coble Funeral and Cremation. All are welcome. There will be no graveside services. Clegie chose to be cremated and his ashes will be interred at a later date in Tennessee.

Clegie's wife Jo Anne Britt Chambers asked that we pass along her heart felt thanks for the numerous calls, emails and texts. She said everyone has been so very kind and she appreciates it very much. She also wanted to let everyone know she has not been able to answer all of the well wishes but wants to say thank you for the notes of kindness in each message.
