The 2020 PJ Rodeo & Reunion is September 21st – 27th

Event Overview:

Ice Breaker Social, Hospitality Deck Socials, VA Assistance Teams, Many Guest Speakers Planned, Motorcycle Excursion, Yoga, Zumba, Vendors Trade Show, PJ Rodeo Awards Ceremony Banquet, Country Western Dancing, Social Painting with some twists, Escape Club Adventure, and much, more are being planned, and plenty of events in town and at the Hotel.

In addition to these events the PJ RODEO competitors will be participating in scored events with many of the events located at the hotel, in view from the Hospitality Decks and other hotel areas. Everyone, including our FAG's (Former Action Guys), enjoys watching the current warrior force in action.

The Guardian Angel Summit Leadership Teams will also be meeting and attending events, presenting an opportunity for introductions and socializing.

There is a unique opportunity to sponsor a very special 2020 PJ Rodeo and Reunion event honoring Pararescuemen of the USAF, past and present. There has been some interest expressed for the film ‘The Last Full Measure’, to be shown at the Grand Sierra Hotel, during the 2020 Reunion. There is significant additional cost to present the film, and we need everyone’s help to make this possible.

The PJ Association proposes to present an exclusive showing of “The Last Full Measure”, the extraordinary 2020 film highlighting the courage and sacrifice made by Pararescueman William H. Pitsenbarger, and the determination to have his Air Force Cross upgraded to the Medal of Honor.

The “Mud Soldiers” of Charlie Company, the Big Red One, and their wives and Pits’ PJ Brothers struggled for over 30 years to honor this hero who saved lives by sacrificing his own in the battle of Abilene, the bloodiest conflict of the Vietnam War.

The Last Full Measure movie brought to light the sacrifice all Pararescuemen are willing to make “That Others May Live”.

The 2020 PJ Rodeo and Reunion in Reno Nevada has the potential to be one of the greatest ever. Many of our members have yet to make their reservations and too many wait to the last minute to do so. It is very important that you make them now, and we need donations from members and sponsors to make this event a reality.

We acknowledge that asking for financial help can be a touchy subject. This unique opportunity to see the movie with your teammates, a once in a life time opportunity, can happen at the 2020 PJ Rodeo and Reunion with your collective support.

An Overview of the Film: “Last Full Measure”

The director and writer, Todd Robinson, and executive producer, Sidney Sherman, spent 20 years working to bring this film to the big screen. The Honorable Witt Peters, former Secretary of the Air Force (who played an important role in Pits’ MOH) will be given the honorarium of PJ brother.

A one-time memorable group photo will be taken after the movie with our honorary guests, so bring your berets. You don’t want to miss out.
