He was born in Buckhorn, KY on August 13th 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd & Sarah and their son Zachary Sandlin. Sandlin. 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was buried with military honors at Hillcrest Memorial Park. His request was that donations in lieu of flowers, could be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Some of us did not know Zachery or just met him in passing with a hand shake. Those that worked with and knew him hold him in high regard as a warrior PJ, who now joins the squadron of PJ Rescue Angels who have made their final jump.
When one of our PJ brothers passes he takes a piece of our hearts with him. It would be immensely appreciated if those who knew Zachary and have stories drop a line or condolences to Julia Sandlin at 4369 Rockbury Drive, Evans GA 30809
