We are sad to announce the passing of Sean G. Casey on
July 5th at the age of 58. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and teammates.
Sean entered the Air Force in 1983 and served one tour as a
Tactical Air Command & Control Specialist before graduating Pararescue
School in 1987. While on active duty and before retiring in 2003, Sean’s assignments included Mildenhall AFB, Patrick AFB, Fort Bragg, and Key West Florida as an instructor at the Special Forces Underwater Operations School. He also served his country in the Guard and Reserves in California and Florida.
After military service, Sean spent the next 20 years working as a college teacher, a paramedic, and a Tactical Medic Instructor on US State Department
contracts.
Sean will always be remembered as an extremely likable individual with a great sense of humor that brightened any room with his presence. He has made his final jump, he will be missed, and he now joins our brothers who also lived by the motto “That Others May Live”
Memorial services will be announced later due to the uncertainty of repatriating Sean G. Casey back to the USA from Colombia.
